Hello, I have had terrible fluid retention (about 10-15 pounds that appeared overnight for the last year and a half.) I’ve had every blood test, stool test imaginable. The basic blood test showed possible dehydration and everything else is fine including kidney function. My diet is caffeine free and full of whole foods. I exercise daily which allows me to sweat out some fluid (Since this fluid retention I sweat excessively and very easily during exercise- the extra layer of fluid makes me feel very hot.) I drink around 3 litres of water per day. I’ve tried to add some pink Himalayan salt to food but this makes the fluid worse. Fluid is sometimes really smooth and other items really puffy suggesting that it’s moving between intracellular and extracellular. I’ve tried drinking more water but I just hold more. If I get hot or sweat slightly I become even puffier! I’m so fed up, please help!
