Spotty back steroids

I had a lot of hair loss when I was on steroids and Humira. I was told by my Rheumotologist that it is because the steroids make all of the hair follicles start growing. When you start to drop your steroids, the hair begins to fall out because nothing is forcing it to grow or stay in. He said it was because I was dropping my steroids that this was occurring. Not sure if that is accurate, but I do know that I started taking Folic Acid and Biotin every day with his approval, and it helped immensely. No more hair fell out other than the norm. It would be something to talk with your doctor about if you are still having the issue.

When your thyroid gets out of whack, your hormines go all wonky. The hot flashes you're feeling could be your thyroid overwoking itself (if so, the back of your neck will be hot, but your cheeks will be cool) or it could be the rest of your endocrine system getting exhasuted. You likely have adrenal exhaustion and low progesterone, since that's the pattern with low thyroid. Ic an PM message you with the name of the book I used that helped me figure out what herbs to take to get the adrenals and progesterone back on track.

I was recently put on prednisone to help battle an ear infection
At first it was helping. Then I started flushing on my face and arms. The flushing was so bad it was like the worst sunburn ever. I had to keep cold compresses on it. Then I couldn't sleep and by chance I did fall into a light sleep I would have terrible night mares.
I just quit the Meds having a few days left. And now 3 days later still suffering.
Head feels foggy. Wake up feeling empending doom. Head aches bad.
Hopefully this will pass sooner than what u have read on others post.

One strange side-effect of the healing and re-wiring of the facial nerve is how my tear ducts in my right eye and right side of my nose react when I eat. Because these nerves are so close the ones that control the salivary glands, it appears they now react by watering and running when I eat. It’s now easy for people to see when I think food is good because it looks like my right eye is tearing up and I have to blow my nose! I admit, it’s kind of strange, but it really isn’t a big deal, and a small inconvenience considering where I was.
