These are not my personal views from seeing a “dairy farm made in heaven”. They are literally universal facts about dairy farms in answer to questions that I am frequently asked. I have taken many collegiate animal and dairy sciences courses (including but not limited to Dairy Farm Management, Dairy Science Production and Industry, Dairy Information Systems, Dairy Cattle Evaluation, Physiology of Lactation, Animal Nutrition, Animal Breeding and Genetics, Livestock Anatomy and Physiology, Livestock Management and Handling, etc). I have also worked on and visited many dairies. I will be working on a large commercial dairy farm in Germany starting in May and I am confident all of these facts will also be true there as they are (let me reiterate one more time): facts. For example it is a fact that it is a legal obligation of processers to test for antibiotics and discard any milk with traces. It is a fact that most farms no longer use BsT due to consumer demand, however milk cannot be hormone free as it is an animal product. It is a fact that most cows are culled (slaughtered) once they pass their peak in production. It is a fact that the dairy body type is skinnier than the beef body type (if you see a dairy cow that looks like a beef cow she is morbidly fat). Testosterone can be administered parenterally , but it has more irregular prolonged absorption time and greater activity in muscle in enanthate , undecanoate , or cypionate ester form. These derivatives are hydrolyzed to release free testosterone at the site of injection; absorption rate (and thus injection schedule) varies among different esters, but medical injections are normally done anywhere between semi-weekly to once every 12 weeks. A more frequent schedule may be desirable in order to maintain a more constant level of hormone in the system.  Injectable steroids are typically administered into the muscle, not into the vein, to avoid sudden changes in the amount of the drug in the bloodstream. In addition, because estered testosterone is dissolved in oil, intravenous injection has the potential to cause a dangerous embolism (clot) in the bloodstream.
